The (First-in/First-out) FIFO pouch accumulator is used for inline accumulation of pouches or bags.
The ability for products to be received at one rate and discharged at a different rate, along with the ability to collate, give this Rolco accumulator added
value. Pouches are timed into pockets in single file or multi-rows. The unit cycles one flight, bringing the next flight into position for loading. In normal
operation, when downstream equipment is operating, the Rolco accumulator is nothing more than a conveyor receiving product at the infeed and dispensing product at the discharge. When
downstream equipment malfunctions, the discharge drive does not operate, storing all production in the Rolco Accumulator.
